May 20th, 2013 ~ No warning.  The F5 tornado which slammed into Moore, Oklahoma this afternoon formed within four minutes and scoured that suburb of Oklahoma City for well over 20 minutes with a path at least a mile and a half wide.

At this hour, at least 15 are known dead and on the scene officials expect that toll to grow despite desperate efforts to rescue those buried in the debris before nightfall.  In some cases that debris is at least 10 feet deep including a local hospital and the Plaza Towers Elementary School.
What can We, as a Nation, do to help?  Do NOT try to send stuff.  Sending stuff creates a logistical nightmare in the midst of a logistical nightmare.  The best you can do to help is donate to the American Red Cross and the Humane Society to help all the displaced and injured animals.
